A woman’s feet in high heels dancing in a spotlight on a dance floor. The high heel of the shoe also shapes a woman’s foot in the same way. That is, the motif is repeated. The repetitive motif provides the rhythm. Dance is unthinkable without rhythm.
High-heeled shoes - The prince asks for Cinderella's hand in marriage

Cinderella is sitting on a chair. The prince kneels before her to ask her to marry him. The shape of the couple forms high-heeled shoes, the prom shoes that only fit Cinderella’s feet.

Beauty and the Beast - the woman and the cuckolded husband with horns

The picture shows a model-shaped woman walking with her partner, a strong-built, ram-headed man in a suit.
The woman is naked, I depicted her womb.
The husband’s head not only resembles a ram’s head, but also reminds us of a woman’s womb.
I leave the interpretation of the image to the viewer.
The title already suggests some association.
Fear - that is, the shadows of the night live within us

A woman walks alone in the total darkness of the night.
Her posture betrays her fear.
In the picture I drew the woman’s pelvic bone.
The pelvic bone also evokes the shape of a bat in the viewer.
People generally fear the bats, as there are many legends associated with the blood-sucking bat.
According to popular belief, a bat gets into a person’s hair in the night and attacks the person.
But that’s not true. Bats do not attack humans, unless they are defending themselves against a human attack.
Many of our fears are unfounded.
That’s what the picture is about.
The bat is a symbol of our baseless fears. The bat lives in us.
Although we are surrounded by bats, just as bats fly around the woman, the bat actually lives inside us.
In other words, in many cases our fears are born with us. Our fears are genetically coded, we carry them from the beginning.

The triumphal arch that comes to life - or: Woe to the victors!

Vae victis – Woe to the vanquished!
This is how the Roman phrase sounded, with which the Romans expressed that the conquered could be freely plundered and destroyed.
According to the legend, the Romans sprinkled the defeated Carthage with salt. This is how they destroyed their main rival, the Phoenicians. The Romans wanted the Phoenicians have the slightest chance of starting over in their homeland.
However, the Puns fought bravely and responded to the Roman attack with a counterattack.
Hannibal, the leader of the Punics, marched through Hispania with his armies including war elephants and surrounded the city of Rome.
The custom of the Romans was to raise a triumphal arch in honor of victorious battles.
The picture shows the frozen moment when a triumphal arch turns into an elephant in order to set off and trample the city, that is, to take revenge on the victors.
The saying becomes a threat.
This is how the proverb (Woe to the vanquished!) becomes a threat (Woe to the victors!)

In the picture, a volcano is erupting. From the smoke of the volcano emerges the face of Vulcanus, the Roman god of fire and volcanoes. Many waterfowl are flying in the air, the blue sea can be seen in the background.

An eyeball shapes the face of a Native American man. The feathers of his headdress and neck ornament are drawn like eyelashes.
Windmill Battle - The die is cast - Who laughs at the end?

Don Quixote and Sancho Panza are on their way to a windmill. In place of the blades of the windmill, we see the board of a board game called Who Laughs at the End. There are pieces and dice around the windmill.
Before storm - after storm

People harvest crops before a storm. A tractor drives through the fields, and the machine collects the grown, ripe vegetables.
After storms, i.e. after wars, revolutions, wars of independence, unlawful carnage often took place. People are killed after a storm.
In this picture, a tank tramples people who are still alive.
Unfortunately, there have been many such massacres in history.
The picture speaks out against cruel, inhumane and unjust treatment.
If lightning strikes us (God's hand scatters lightning)

The puppeteer moves the marionettes with strings.
In this picture, two heavenly hands are making lightning bolts. The lightnings turn into ropes, and thus the heavenly hand moves the puppets through the lightnings.

Puppets are not fairy tale characters. But flesh and blood human figures, a man and a woman.
We play roles here on the earthly stage.
I wonder how free we are. How freely we make our actions and decisions.

A green pea plant grows on the grave. A pea or two takes the form of a death’s head, a skull. But new life is born on the grave, as plants and vegetables grow on the grave.
Begging - Our daily bread

A beggar begs for food in the park. His stomach is empty, he hasn’t eaten in a long time. A giving hand takes pity on him and offers food to his mouth.
A man sacrifices in the church. He is not hungry, he lives well and decently. The priest holds out a wafer to his mouth.
Both are necessary for life – physical and spiritual nourishment.
Both physical and spiritual nourishment is necessary for everyone. It would be good if no one had to beg and kneel for physical and spiritual food.

We see the night sky through a half-open gate.
Next to the gate, a key hangs on the left, and a man, a hanged man, on the right. He died. Was he killed? Probably. We see that the man unfortunately did not die of natural causes.
Violence, sinning against another person is a sin, a crime. It opens a door to darkness.
